Dr. Amugo received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University in 2013 and is a licensed pharmacist with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. She has over 13 years of experience in the pharmacy industry, positioned in both the community retail pharmacy setting and in a Federally Qualified Health Care setting. She has developed and diversified her knowledge in HIV/AIDS care and is bringing Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) access to the community. She is the innovator of this organization and her mission is to bring healthcare affordability to the masses in the community. Before establishing her own pharmacy, she grew from being a front-end cashier, to being a pharmacy technician, and eventually a pharmacist serving as the Pharmacist-in-Charge, hiring and managing other pharmacists and technicians, overseeing pharmacy operations, and ensuring quality of care is provided to patients.

In her pursuit for excellence, Dr. Amugo specialized her knowledge base on HIV/AIDS medicine by earning her HIV/AIDS Pharmacist Expert certificate through the American Academy of HIV Medicine. This brings an advantageous edge in the community pharmacy setting where patients can get education and thus enhancing access to pharmaceutical needs. As an owner of this independent pharmacy, Dr. Amugo is dedicated to providing excellence in care and service to her patients, with individualized attention and professional courtesy, setting every patient’s healthcare need as a priority and to build trusting relationships with her patients and other healthcare professionals.
